How has your journey from backyard screen printing to international fashion stages influenced your approach to design?
My design path has always been about evolving and taking chances. Kicking things off with DIY tees in my backyard to now hitting up international runways, it's taught me to stick to my vision but also roll with the punches. Every step has shaped how I see design, and helped me blend my love for street vibes and workwear while staying focused on the future. It's all about keeping things fresh and honest and embracing what comes your way.
What was the motivation behind TOMBOGO's 'The Future is Bright' campaign where Bag Table Light debuted?
Creating this campaign for Paris Fashion Week, we wanted to inspire people to challenge the norm and see potential in unexpected places. Just like how a simple bag can become a stellar piece of art, we want to encourage people to look at the world differently and see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Why did you choose to design a bag that doubles as a light?
Going with a bag that doubles as a light was all about pushing boundaries and reimagining everyday objects. It's this cool blend of style meets utility, the exact essence of TOMBOGO. We're in the game of making bold statements, not just products. Which is why Bag Table Light isn’t just any other piece—it’s the start of conversations and a fresh take on finding wonder in surprising places.
How do you envision Bag Table Light inspiring and influencing its owners?
I’m excited for it to inspire people to see their surroundings in a new light, literally. I want it to be more than just an object in a room—I want it to ignite creativity and encourage people to think outside the box. It's designed to be a source of inspiration, and a reminder that with vision and determination, anything is possible.
