Made by Gantri

The future of manufacturing is here

Man checking gantri's printers

From the beginning, Gantri knew that traditional manufacturing wasn’t for us. It’s wasteful, often outsourced overseas and tends to prioritize quantity over quality. At Gantri, we’re all about creating the change we want to see. That’s why we developed the first 3D printing process capable of producing luxury-level lighting on demand and built the world’s largest print farm. By prioritizing ethical manufacturing and the highest quality materials, we’re able to bring new designer lighting straight to your home.

How it’s made

3D printers begin extruding Gantri Plant Polymers to create each part. Then, our QA team performs an initial inspection.

3

Finishing

Parts individually sanded, primed and painted using our premium water-based paint.

4

Assembly

An assembly team member assembles the light, prepares the power cord, wires the socket and installs an LED bulb.

5

QA

The new light is carefully examined from top to bottom, ensuring the highest quality before shipment.

6

Our Commitments

Made to last

We manufacture every product from our state-of-the-art factory in California. Making our products in house ensures the highest level of craftsmanship at every stage as we work to deliver beautiful lighting that will last the test of time.

Made for you

Your light is made just for you. Without the constraints of traditional manufacturing, we keep our hands on your order from beginning to end at our local 3D print farm in San Leandro. At Gantri, your light comes to life layer by layer, creating a one of a kind light. Très bespoke.

Made from plants

We’re breaking up with plastic. We create our lights using Gantri Plant Polymers – a proprietary blend of plant-based materials sourced from sugar cane. Safer than petroleum, more durable than glass. Visit our Materials Page to learn more.
