We use two innovative blends of Gantri Plant Polymers (GPP) for our lights—sustainably derived from non-GMO sugarcane sourced from Thai farms.
Translucent blend
The diffuser is made using our translucent blend, containing light diffusive particles and UV coating.
Additionally, the light comes with a sturdy cord made with durable TPE and has a flat wall plug.

Keep your light shining bright. Clean with a soft, moist towel. To disinfect, dab a cloth in rubbing alcohol and wipe thoroughly.
Rotation
For lights with rotation capability, ours can turn a full 320° in both directions. To preserve their longevity, please refrain from exceeding this range.

Word Table Light draws inspiration from the Greek "Doric" columns, known for their simple yet elegant design. Using a cylindrical shape and modern fluting, this elegant light creates a natural and rhythmic glow and offers unique details made possible by 3D printing. During the day, the light stands tall like a column, and at night, it glows to brighten the space, making it both functional and visually striking. While designed as a table light, its combination of classic architecture and modern design lends elegance to any room. The light spreads gently from the base to the top, making it suitable for use anywhere from the entryway to the bedroom.

Studio Word is a design studio established by Kyuhyung Cho and Jungyou Choi in 2018. Kyuhyung Cho is a graduate of Konstfack, where he majored in storytelling, and Jungyou Choi is a graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven, where she majored in Man and Wellbeing, as well as Ecal, where she majored in Luxury and Craftsmanship. Studio Word is based in Seoul and Europe, and is active in the design fields of graphic, product, furniture, and space.
