We use two innovative blends of Gantri Plant Polymers (GPP) for our lights—sustainably derived from non-GMO sugarcane sourced from Thai farms.

Additionally, the light comes with a sturdy cord made with durable TPE and has a flat wall plug.

For lights with rotation capability, ours can turn a full 320° in both directions. To preserve their longevity, please refrain from exceeding this range.

Step into the limelight with Encore Table Light, Sam Gwilt’s sophomore release with Gantri. While exploring the effects of light, Gwilt tapped into the emotional experience derived from curtains -- in a theater, concealed and raising anticipation prior to a performance, to the ethereal, warm feeling when the sun shines through your home. Encore is Gwilt’s showcase of how curtains can play a fundamental role in how one experiences light, through control or enhancement. The Encore Table Light’s elegant design features a double exposed diffuser allowing for versatile use. Taking cues from the organic pleats created by curtains, the shade’s exterior showcases a unique rippled effect atop a geometric base. Similar to his first launch, Weight Table Light, Encore explores how static products can stop a moment in time while simulating motion. Balancing airy and drama, the Encore Table Light is a perfect statement piece to intensify or soften your everyday.

Sam Gwilt is a UK based industrial designer making design more approachable for all. Gwilt’s work showcases his mastery of rendered imagery and his intimate understanding of materials. Naturally, his designs on Gantri is an exploration into physics, playfully exemplifying how lighting can articulate motion. After two years at Recipe Design working with clients such as Braun, he now works at design consultancy BLOND. Sam also runs an Instagram and YouTube channel - sam_does_design - where he shares industry tips with the design community.
