Artifox is known for its beautiful, functional furniture. How did you approach adding lighting to the mix?
With our artifacts we created a formula: Expert craftsmen with quality materials and innovative technology to create something special. With this light, it was no different. Our goal is to redesign products that inspire you in all of your spaces and lighting is just a natural progression of that story.
Now that the Artifox Table Light is a reality, how do you envision it in people's homes?
We designed our light to be displayed in modern work and home environments with a clean and minimal style. It looks beautiful on desks, side tables, nightstands – even shelving. Its versatile shape and symmetrical features allow it to blend in or stand out in any space.
It has a really cool silhouette – simple yet distinct. Can you speak to the inspiration behind that?
We loved the idea of creating a variation on the mid-century mushroom shape and giving it a more retro, science-fiction vibe. Its shape is free of harsh angles and we think that makes it all the more inviting. It's unique and luxurious without doing too much.
